T3: My first born. My 40 inch tall two and a half year old! T3 has always been off the charts, entering the world (naturally I might add) at 9 lb 12 ounces… two weeks early! After 36 hours of labor with him in a posterior position, he finally made it out. But was soon whisked away to ICU in a hospital an hour away for a pneumothorax. He stayed there for 5 days before we could bring him home. I was there sleeping beside his incubator for 4 of those days, as I went AMA less than 24 hours after his birth in order to be with him. He was definitely the biggest baby ever in the ICU – he almost didn’t fit in the incubator!
Fast forwarding to today… T3 is a little smarty pants, chatty Kathy – if he’s awake, he’s talking. Hell, he even talks in his sleep sometimes! He’s at that age where he just comes up with the most mind blowing things to say, and causes me to laugh endlessly throughout the day. He is a big whiner though, testing every ounce of my patience and trying to assert his independence. Here’s to hoping that stage passes soon!

your boys are really cute! My babies were all big too…and they all stayed in the ICU for a few days, my last one was 10lbs, and she looked like a godzilla baby there in the ICU next to all the preemies. Only one of mine ever wore newborn diapers.
your blog is really nicely arranged, I love your sidebar, and great blogname!
