Amanda at Shamlessly Sassy thought of this great idea where we would post our oddities on February 11th. Well, I am odd simply by posting mine on the 12th. I never know what day of the week it is anyway until I see it on my blog posts. So, here we go:

1. I have 13 ribs. Not the standard evolutionarily correct number of 12, but 13! I have that extra rib Eve took from Adam… It’s a rare anatomical fubar, where I have a small rib in the last vertebrae of my cervical spine. It causes a bunch of problems, but that’s for another post…

2. I always have to sleep with a pillow on my head. And not just any pillow… the pillow my Babcia gave me when I was 6 years old. Yes, this delapitated excuse for a pillow must cover my head everytime I go to bed, or I will not go to sleep. It came with me to the hospital when I gave birth to my boys, it has lived in England with me for a year, it has traveled more than most people I know, and I even turned around on a road trip, backtracking 80 miles to get it from the Motel 6 I accidentally left it at.

3. I do everything in threes. I count in threes, I pray three times, I chew in threes, I wash silverware in threes. If I accidentally make it to four, then I make sure that I do whatever I need to 5 more times, making 9, which is 3 times 3. Am I making any sense here? Wow, that was totally an accident writing this on the #3 of this list… weird…

4. I beat box when I am excited… yes, full out Biz Markee beat box. My boys laugh so hard when I do it. I have never done it in front of my husband though. I think he would have me committed.

5. I cannot swallow pills. My prenatals were chewables, I drink my kids’ childrens Tylenol and Motrin, and I requested liquid painkillers after the birth of my son. As gross as it sounds, I will chew or crush any pill that I have to take if it isn’t available in liquid form.

Not sure how many of these I am suppossed to have, but there’s the top 5. There’s so many more, just not sure if anyone really wants to know all that weird stuff. Let me guess, you really do want to know… ok, I’ll post more soon.
