Again, we have to postpone the party which was supposed to be this Saturday, due to the super snow storm that is coming our way. We live out in the country (sort of) and everyone who is invited would have to drive at least 30 minutes in a blizzard to get here. *sigh* Our road is the last to get plowed, and I don’t think many people would make it in one piece.
So, Saturday I will be working and then I will be picking up a lovely French Buttercream birthday cake, which I will have to eat if only to make myself feel better. It looks like we will “celebrate” GG’s birthday on Easter, since the family will be gathering at my MIL’s house anyway.
I guess I could look at the positive: I don’t have to cook anything, I don’t have to clean up, and I don’t have to spend gobs of money on decorations and food. But still, it’s so sad not to have a real birthday party for GG.
Poor thing. He got so shafted this year. Good thing he really couldn’t care less.

this snow is really gettin’ on my nerves as well! I will probably have to postpone my co-blogger’s baby shower which was supposed to be saturday ! GRRR! WHY OHIO WHY??
