This morning when I awoke I realized that my mamusia was sitting at the airport waiting for her flight to take her home to Florida. In my selfish mind, I did not want my mother to go back to the nice 70+ degree weather and Palm Beach ocean breezes, but rather stay here in freezing cold Ohio with me and keep me company.
I welled up with tears when it hit me that I did not know when she would be able to come back and visit. She had been here for two weeks, and it was so nice to wake up everyday to the the aroma of coffee and scrambled eggs in the morning. It was nice to sit up late and watch cheesy Lifetime movies and American Idol with her. It was great to see the boys playing with her, and T3 telling her that he loves his “BuBu”. It was amazing to taste her amazing Polish cooking again.
I may be 31 years old, but today I realized that I am a mama’s girl. I miss her so much right now, words cannot express.
I love you Mamusia! And the boys love you too! Hurry back, please!

Awwww…. I miss my mamusia too! And my mom holds my kids hands the SAME way that yours does (in the last pic). LOL. The same way!

My mom lives 15 minutes from me and I would be cry for a month if she left me.. I am a mama’s girl too!!
