Happy Easter to all!

With only a few hours of Easter Sunday remaining, I thought I would wish everyone a Happy Easter night. We’ve been really quiet over here in our neck of the woods, well quiet on the blog anyway, because I haven’t been home for more than 10 minutes in the past three days.

Friday night I went on an honest to goodness date with my DH. Our first date in 3 years, I think. I looked good too, getting a bunch of those glances – yeah you know the ones…

Easter Egg Dye Job: credit Free Republic

All was going well until we got stuck in a foot of snow coming back home in a freak, out-of-nowhere snowstorm, and made it home around 1am. And OMG, T3 was still up!!! It took some doing, but I had to muscle him into bed. I got maybe 3 hours of sleep and then Saturday was an early morning for me as I dragged myself out of bed to go to work. I also worked today, and when I got home we had to pack up the kids and go to my MIL’s house. I am finally home and just need to breathe after this crazy weekend.

I promise to catch up on my 74 Google reader posts… ack! But not tonight. Tonight mama needs some R&R. So, goodnight everyone! I hope your Easter was a good one!

Happy Easter. I had a mad weekend too. Did you know that this was the first time in I-don’t-know-how-long that 6 festivals from around the world co-incided over the Friday-Sunday period? Amazing!
Also, you should “dress up” more often. I do that at work sometimes because I hardly get any opportunities otherwise. Makes me feel more confident, for some reason.

My sisters drove through that snowstorm to come home for Easter. They’re even more ready for spring than I am!
