Lookie at what I just got!
Isn’t it beautiful? It’s the new Britax Frontier that came out end of May.
I needed a booster seat for T3 because he is ridiculously tall for his age, but his weight is under the 40 pounds he needs to be to actually use a seat belt with the booster. He still needs to be in a 5 point harness. So, what I found was this super cool harnessed booster!
*ok, I am starting to sound like an advertisement now*
Back to the point at hand… my son, T3, is getting smarter. And I should know better that to show him a picture of something that I am buying for him on the internet, especially if it takes a week to deliver.
Everyday for seven days I had been asked, “Mama, where’s my seat?”, “Mama, can we go vroom vroom in my new seat?”, “Mama, is it here yet?”
Seven long days.
And then it got here in the early morning, and I had to wait for DadaWise to get home to install it. And for seven hours I heard “Can I sit in my new seat yet?”, “Is dada home yet?”, “Can we go for a drive in my seat, pleeeeeeeez?”
Seven long hours.
Finally, DadaWise got home and installed the seat… but it was too late to go anywhere. So, my son comes and finds me later right before his bedtime, looks at me and says:
“Mama, I have to go to the doctor.”
My ears perk up and I ask “why?”
“Because doctors are cool”
Feeling his forehead, I ask “are you sick?”
“Oh yes mama, I am so sick”
Worried, I ask “oh no, what’s wrong sweetie?”
“I have a cold in my belly, so I have to go sit in my seat and go to the doctor.”
What a little stinker! I can’t believe he’s fibbing already just to get what he wants. I thought I still had a good couple of years before he started doing that.

Now, my dear daughter,YOU know what I had to go through with YOU.This is only the beginning.I wander, how you are going to explain to the 4 year old asking:Mommy, how is the Earth hanging in the air?Theory of gravity, good story,God holding it;many choices but which one would be the best?Have lots of fun,as these moments are precious and memories will last forever!!!!!!!!

lol!! whatta cutie!! he has a cold in his belly.
love it.
My girls will tell me that they don’t feel good they need… an ice pop or candy or xyz! lol they learn quickly!
btw… LOVE the new seat. I have this issue with my girls too! They are only going to be 3 the beginning of Oct… and aren’t really very heavy but are both in the 97th percentile for height. They are both about 37″ already…. and I don’t have a third shoulder strap in my truck soooo this would be the perfect solution!! a booster seat with 5 point harness!!
thanks for sharing… I’m going to go check these little babies out!!
and trust me… IF i do order two I will not be mentioning it to anyone… I would get questioned the same way!
xoxoxo
PS i added you to my blog roll… hope you don’t mind.

Doctors may be cool … but copays are not.
My son is tallish for his age, but under the weight requirement for me to turn his carseat facing forward. His legs are getting more and more cramped. He’s just two pounds shy of the limit, so I think I will turn his seat around anyway and give him some leg room!

Very cool ride… I’m jealous. I gotta love T3’s tenacity… good thing he wants to use the seat and not fight you about it.

I can’t wait to hear what he says to get a chance to sit in the DRIVER’s seat!
That’s a snazzy looking seat

When he starts asking about Einstein’s theory of relarivity or Newton’s Laws of Motion, let me know, and I’ll see what I can do to help…

Hah! Love the seat. I sometimes wish they made adult seats with harnesses … some people drive crazy enough for us to need ‘em!
