Apparently there was a promotion that I did not know about – Buy One get Two Free.
Even though I tried canceling my order by dipping myself in Purell and filling up on multivitamins, within 24 hours our free shipment arrived. X got the stuff/runny nose and fever combo with a side of the crabbies and I got the sore throat with fever, aches and pains combo. I should have added a side order of patience because lord knows I need it right now.
Last night as I consoled X every hour on the hour, I just knew I was getting sick. The exhaustion, the scratchy throat, and the chills. The thermometer confirmed it – 100.0 degrees – only a low grade fever, but enough to suck the life out of me. It took all of twenty minutes late last night for me to go from feeling fine while sitting at my computer to feeling like a truck ran over me while I lay on the couch in the fetal position.
Today T3 seems in better spirits but X is just plain miserable. I am eagerly awaiting nap time, because only then can I try and get some rest.
Here’s to hoping that this ends very soon without hubby getting his own combo because I have enough sick babies in the house.

feel better soon! The preschool ickies suck, after a bit the immunities will build up and hopefully when it is GG’s time you won’t have as many extra’s sent home.
