I hope everyone had a nice, warm Thanksgiving. Us outbreak monkeys are in quarantine for the time being. We, unfortunately, weren’t able to celebrate Thanksgiving this year at my in-law’s house. Al decided to catch T3′s respiratory infection on Wednesday, after me exclaiming to my mother that it was a wonder how he had dodged the bullet… guess I was doomed to jinx myself. So, with a 102 fever, waking every hour on the hour for the last three days, and me working Thursday and today, I am spent. But at least my MIL sent over a ton of yummies yesterday, so I don’t have to cook for another day or two.
Oh and lets not forget that T3′s face met with Al’s head this week, and caused his two front teeth become loose and hurt when he tries to eat. He might just become the first preschooler to lose his teeth at the tender age of 3. It might not be too terrible because everyone thinks he’s older than he really is, but damn I don’t want him to get a visit from the toothfairy yet – it’s just way too soon! He’ll be toothless for over three years! I felt so sorry for the kid, I just had to give him one of his Christmas presents early. Mamusia, he wants me to thank you for Wall-E. “Waw-E makes it aw feew better!”
Continuing our adventure – Like father, like son… DadaWise is having his fair share of grief this week. He has a couple of cracked ribs, because he slipped on the tire of his truck, trying to swing his leg over to get into the truck’s bed. 6 foot 5 does not fall gracefully, that’s for sure. His chest landed on one of those hooks that sticks out on top of the bed and I, having no idea what he was talking about, asked “What hooks?”. Then, I laughed so hard (not because I am malicious or anything) because to explain what he did, he had to reenact it for me, and his facial expressions were priceless.
Now you have me – I’m bitchy, tired sleep-deprived, and have a kink in my back that just won’t go away. But I am thankful that we are all getting better. This too shall pass. I can’t wait to see what Christmas has in store for us this year!
And there you have it, our Thanksgiving fiasco adventure.

Oh my darling girl. I am so sorry. Yowza.
The pictures are priceless.
You have really had your share of it haven’t you?
You’ve been in my thoughts and prayers. He wouldn’t be alone… one of Princess’ classmates ran into her brother’s leg last year and lost her two front teeth
I hope hubs feels better soon, I’ve cracked ribs and it’s a beast. It takes forever to get over and it’s misery. Tape him to all holy hell and keep him straight
Bless ya you darling girl.

Aww, Hon! That sounds rough. Sorry about that. The great thing about those teeth is that they might tighten back up….at least that happened a few times with Missy B.

wow. what a thanksgiving.
i hope that everyone is feeling MUCH better now and that you have all gotten some sleep. i can’t functin on no sleep for very long.
that sucks about the tooth and head incident… my daughter had a tooth and crib rail incident… and her teeth were very loose and gray!!
i was so upset! they were also bleeding… i rushed to the office i used to work at before having my kids… and my dentist said she would be fine… although i love and trust him… it was about my girl… my girl that was just barely two years old… ugh… so i doubted him… but sure enough she healed up and is fine… no gray, not loose… thankfully. so hopefully your little guys will be fine too.
and about your husband… wow. that must have hurt bad. i would have laughed if my husband re-lived the accident of falling for me too. not that i’d be happy he got hurt… but for some reason i always laugh, and usually unconrolably, at things like that.
hope you all have a better week this week.
xoxoxo HUGS!!
