Christmas keeps us busy

Having my parents in town has certainly kept us busy lately.  Christmas was wonderful, and I hope everyone’s holiday was what they hoped it would be.  My boys, especially Brad, really began to understand Christmas this year.  It was so cute when he came down the steps in the early morning to see that Santa had eaten all of the cookies and drank all the milk that he left for him the night before.  This year was the first year where we celebrated both Christmas traditions - Wigilia, which is the traditional Polish Christmas Eve vigil, we had been celebrating ever since Brad was born, but this year we added the whole Santa Claus Christmas tradition.  It was so much fun to do both, that I think we will continue this as our family’s tradition from now on.

Anyhow, now with the craziness gone, I have so much catching up to do - laundry to finish, decorations to take down, bills to pay, posts to write, blogs to read, etc… and not in that order either. My parents are still in town for another week, so I plan to maximize their time with the boys, as they only get to see them two or three times a year.

So, for now I hope everyone has a great New Year!  I’ll be around, but maybe not on the computer as much for the next week or so.
